The successful candidate will have a resilient, empathetic and patient personality with the desire to help children fulfil their potential. The role would involve a combination of teaching primary and secondary level.

As a Teacher, you have to be understanding and committed. That's because the young people in the school we are representing have social, emotional, mental health and complex learning needs that call for extra dedication. It's not just about academic achievement; we want you to make them feel accepted and confident in their abilities.
Help them progress and you'll have every opportunity to do the same with your career.

• Based near Sunderland Town Centre
• Teaching across all Key stages
• Available 3 - 5 days a week

You must have:

• At least 1 year of teaching experience
• Experience supporting autism and challenging behaviour
• You must be confident with the SEN code of practice
• QTS/QTLS
• A good solid understanding of SEMH and Mental Health
• Experience of teaching Primary or Secondary across the Key stages
…..
but what we're really looking for is the ability to connect.

We need you to build great relationships with the young people, so you can motivate them do well and be the best that they can be. If you're emotionally strong and good in a team, we can offer a role with exciting prospects. There are occasional meetings outside school hours, which your attendance will be required.

In return you will receive:

• A competitive pay package
• Opportunity to work in a vibrant and inspiring environment
• A personal consultant who will stay in touch throughout your placement
• CPD (continual professional development)

If you have these qualities and would like to work with Protocol, please submit your CV to janet.furness@protocol-education.com as soon as possible to ensure you are short listed. Alternatively call 0191 2797270
