Job description
Protocol Education are seeking passionate and qualified SEN teacher based just outside the Woking area. An outstanding school where you will be in a small class 6-8 pupils. The ages of the students are 11-19. The students have a wide range of needs including Autism, moderate learning difficulties, down syndrome and other conditions associated with learning difficulties.

This school is open to newly graduated and overseas teachers, so this will be a fantastic opportunity for you.

The role would be a PE/English teacher. There is plenty of parking at the school and around the local area. This school has fantastic ties within the local community and offer fantastic extra-curricular activities for the pupils to get involved in. As part of their team, you will be responsible for the progress and wellbeing of the pupils. The successful candidate will be a passionate, enthusiastic teacher.


Requirements

-Minimum 1 year of experience working with autism and challenging behaviour
-Be able to commit to 3-5 days a week
-Have excellent communication skills
-Confident with the SEN code of practice
-Experience of teaching pupils of a Primary or Secondary age
