Gateshead £130 - 265 per day Permanent Teaching 311032342 Posted 4 weeks ago
Some teaching jobs are about data. This one’s about people.
We’re working with a fantastic SEN school in Gateshead that’s looking for teachers who understand that progress can come in many different forms, a new word spoken, a calmer morning, a smile that wasn’t there yesterday.
The school supports pupils with severe and complex needs, including autism, and they’re searching for someone patient, encouraging and genuinely passionate about helping children feel safe, valued and understood.
You don’t need years of SEN experience to apply. What matters most is your willingness to learn, adapt and build meaningful connections with pupils who need consistency and care.
You’ll be:
• Delivering creative, personalised lessons
• Supporting communication and emotional development
• Helping pupils build life skills and confidence
• Working closely with a brilliant SEN team
You’ll need:
• QTS
• A calm and positive approach
• Resilience and empathy
• A passion for inclusive education
In return, the school offers a welcoming environment, ongoing training and the chance to do work that genuinely changes lives.
And if you haven’t completed Thrive training yet, we’ll help you get started with our free course.
