 SEN Support Assistant Needed in Leeds (Full Time)

Some children just need a little extra support to help them grow in confidence, feel understood and enjoy learning at their own pace. That’s where you come in.

Protocol Education is working with a welcoming school in the LS9 area looking for a caring and patient SEN Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for children who need that extra guidance throughout the school day .

This is a rewarding role for someone who is calm, encouraging and genuinely passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning. Every day is different, but the difference you make will stay with those children for years to come ⭐.

You’ll be supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them engage with learning, build confidence and feel safe, secure and supported in school.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs
• Is nurturing, patient and understanding
• Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Supports children emotionally as well as academically
• Wants to make a genuine difference in a child’s school journey

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
