About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to work in the Middlesbrough region. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with a range of additional needs and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Support pupils with a variety of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where necessary

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN pupils (in a school or specialist setting)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
