We're looking for a passionate SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming specialist school in Bristol. If you're committed to helping children with additional needs flourish, both in and out of the classroom, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
  • Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom where every child can succeed
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and the wider school team
  • Supporting pupils' academic progress, confidence and emotional wellbeing
  • Using creative teaching strategies to inspire a love of learning

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary or specialist setting
  • Has a strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs or other additional needs
  • Is calm, adaptable and passionate about inclusive education
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
