This is a full-time SEN Teacher role leading a mixed KS1/KS2 class of 9 pupils aged 6–10, all with EHCPs and varying cognitive and communication needs.

• Calm and authoritative
• Highly organised
• Skilled in adaptive teaching
• Confident leading multiple support staff
• Clear communicator with parents


Daily Expectations & Routine

• Morning structured entry and regulation
• Highly differentiated core lessons
• Frequent movement breaks
• Real-time marking and feedback
• Weekly TA briefing meetings

Staff remain until 4:30pm for planning, EHCP reviews and staff collaboration.


Behaviour & Environment

• Calm corridors
• Consistent expectations
• High staff-to-pupil ratio
• De-escalation focused approach


Experience & Pay Scale

QTS required.

Specialist SEN experience desirable but not essential for strong mainstream teachers willing to adapt.

Salary dependent on experience within teacher pay scale.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
