SEND or Primary teacher required

Protocol Education are looking to recruit an experienced Primary or SEND teacher to join a specialist school in the Middlesbrough area for a long term role, Monday to Friday.

You will be joining an incredible team that predominantly work with students who have Autism, moderate to severe, profound and complex needs. Therefore, experience or qualifications within special educational needs is preferred but not essential!

A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important. Being able to work in a team of other professionals is also an integral part of this role.

For this role:

- Hold a QTS in primary education or specialising in SEN

- Strong knowledge of SEN particularly ASC, PMLD and SEMH

- Resilient, Nurtuing and Confident

- Must be an effective communicator

- Good understanding of the UK Curriculum

- Hold a right to work in the UK

- Able to provide professional references covering most recent 2 years of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
