Job description
SEN TA's Required for primary age range positions available in Greater Manchester!

Can you enhance learning and progress in the classroom? Do you have the skills to impact in an SEN setting for primary age students?

If you have experience working with SEN children in an SEN or primary setting then contact us today! Roles require you to motivate and support pupils with specific learning needs and enhance their progress throughout the key stage. The ideal candidate will be experienced working with autism, ADHD, MLD or BESD.

I am working with a number of schools in Greater Manchester to recruit a number of SEN TA roles. Applicants looking for permanent, contract or temporary roles will be considered as will candidates looking for the flexibility of daily supply work.

An SEN TA supports a qualified teacher in the classroom and within the whole school setting. You need to enhance learning across the curriculum and work with pupils. You will deliver pre-planned lesson materials to small groups, monitor progress and help to create a positive learning environment. For those candidates with a passion for working with SEN children and making a difference this can be an ideal role.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 months experience working with SEN students in an SEN or primary school. In order to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

• Strong behaviour management
• Motivate, reassure and support learning tasks appropriate to pupils' needs
• Assisting in speech, language, reading, spelling and handwriting
• Ability to follow policies including behaviour management and rewards
• Flexibility in approach to classroom delivery and learning material
