Job description
SEN Teaching Assistant required - Nottingham

Locations: Beeston, Chilwell, West Bridgford, Long Eaton

Protocol Education is currently working with a number of fantastic schools in Nottingham who require TA's with SEN experience for the new academic year.

If you have experience working with Children with Special Educational Needs, whether it be within a school setting or within a care setting we are keen to hear from you. You will be working with children with a range of SEN needs including ADHD, Autism, Aspergers and SLD in both a secondary and primary setting.

You will be responsible for helping the children complete work set by the teacher, as well as assisting the children with their physical needs throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will be a positive, patient and caring individual who has a genuine interest in helping develop children with Special Educational needs. Knowledge of BSL, Makaton, Team Teach, SPELL/TEACCH would also be an advantage.

This position is on an ad-hoc basis initially but can often lead to longer term positions for strong candidates.
