Job description
Experienced SEN TA - Hillingdon

A mainstream Primary School in Hillingdon are looking for a passionate and experienced SEN TA to join there team from September.

The suitable candidate for this role will have substantial experience of working alongside pupils with ASD, MLD, PMLD or SEMH and be keen for a full time Teaching Assistant Position using these skills within a Primary school. The school is in a great location and is easily accessible by public transport.

In this position you will be:

*Working 1:1 or with a small group of children who have Special Educational Needs or Disabilities
*Supporting Learning through a range of targeted interventions, ensuring that children are able to access differentiated lessons.
*Working closely with the Teacher to ensure that they are aware of any requirements and working as part of the wider SEN Team within the school to ensure outstanding inclusion.

We are looking for:

*Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role, or proven transferable skills relating to working with children with SEND.
* A warm, Friendly and calm nature and the ability to develop positive relationships with children, while maintaining professional boundaries.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.

Due to the urgent nature of the position, you would need to have a DBS on the Online Update Service, and be available to interview and start in September. Working hours will be between 08.00am - 16:00pm from Monday to Friday
