Job Alert - SEND Teaching Assistant

Summary - SEND Teaching Assistant

I am currently recruiting for multiple SEND Teaching Assistants to work in in different SEND school on a day to day basis. The schools are based in South Nottingham.

This is to start ASAP and you will need to have experience working in a special needs school as a SEND Teaching Assistant.

The Role - SEND Teaching Assistant

As the SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting different pupils in a variety of schools with ages from 2 to 18 years old. Communication can be limited in the classes and ideally you will know MAKATON.

You will be working closely with the class teacher, helping to differentiate the work for each pupil.

Requirements - SEND Teaching Assistant

·Experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
·Experience with Personal Care.
·Manuel Handling experience.
·Ideally someone who has previously worked with a pupil with Cerebral Palsy - this is not essential though.
·Passionate about working with SEND students.
