Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

We are currently supporting a range of secondary schools across Wakefield who are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential in a mainstream or specialist secondary setting.
Whether you are experienced in education or looking to take your first step into a school-based role, we would love to hear from you.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide tailored support to students with a range of additional needs, which may include autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, or learning difficulties.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
