Job description
Protocol Education are excited to be expanding and recruiting within the school SEN residential care area. As a result, we now have several opportunities to support you to further your career, and grow your experience supporting pupils both in and outside of the classrooms. Dependant on your level of experience and capabilities, you may be working with children with Severe and Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD / MLD), as well as students with social emotional and mental health (SEMH), and within the Autistic Spectrum.

Your duties and responsibilities:
- You will be supporting students with various learning difficulties such as SLD, MLD, Autism and EBD.
- You will be promoting independence and encouraging students to achieve both academically and personally.
- You will be dedicated to the continued care and safeguarding of all of the students under your care.
- You will be supporting residents with health and possibly personnel care needs
- You will help maintain a safe, comfortable and supportive environment
- Developing the ability to build relationships and gain the trust of vulnerable children and young people.
- Flexible hours with both part and full time positions available.
- You will be subject to a DBS check, and prior to working will have to have an up to date DBS registered on the update service.
