Protocol-education is searching for learning support assistants to work in a special needs school in the Sutton area. If you have experience working as a care worker/assistant this role would be suitable for you as your skills will be transferable for this role.

The schools we deal with have an outstanding approach at meeting and delivering the required needs of their pupils who have special needs and severe learning difficulties such as autistic spectrum Condition (ASC) and learning difficulties.

We provide support cover for pupils aged 3 to 11 years with learning difficulties and complex needs. The school covers for 54 young people and they work in group of up to 6 children.


This is a full-time support position up until the end of the 2019/2020 academic school year, with a competitive salary.

Candidates with experience dealing with pupils of these type of needs will be a bonus but it is not a requirement, however the school will still consider your application.

Main Duties:
• Supporting students with work set by the class teacher.
• Helping with the behaviour management of the classroom.
• Working with the teacher to assess pupil's levels and ability.
• Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented.
• Liaising with parents and carers.
