We are currently working with a highly regarded and sought after special needs school in Lewisham. They are a school who specialise in working with children and young adults diagnosed with Autistic spectrum condition and in many cases, additional learning needs.
This ranges from offering care and support to service users with Severe learning difficulties and physical impairments, sensory impairments and speech and language difficulties. They also support high functioning young people who need support in their social development, regulating emotions and academic support.

The school work with EY's to post 18, so whether you are primary, secondary or college focused, there is the right role for you. The school offers a new and well-resourced building which is clean, spacious and bright. You will also get the chance to be part of a successful, supportive and friendly team who are passionate about the care and education of the young people with autism.

We are looking for people who have some experience in working with autism or the drive, passion and personality to inspire those with additional needs and willingness to learn and take on new skills, whist being pro-active and self-motivated. Working within an alternative provision means that no day is the same and you get to make a direct positive impact on the children you are working with.
