A special needs Primary school is looking for enthusiastic teaching assistants to join their team. The school caters to children on the autistic spectrum although they may also have other needs. As a teaching assistant at this school you should expect that no day will be the same and your contribution to each day directly impacts the pupil's development. The school prides themselves on having happy children and a family-like dynamic within their team. This school does offer permanent contracts for candidates that exceed expectation.

This is a full-time support position up until the end of the 2020/2021 academic school year, with a competitive salary.

The Role:

• Full time, Monday - Friday.
• Working in the South Croydon area.

Requirements:
• Relevant experience working in schools.
• Previous experience working with SEN children, and passionate about the learning and development of SEND pupils.
• Capable of dealing with challenging behaviour, promoting focus within a classroom environment and giving on-going 1:1 support.
• Able to provide 2 relevant references with at least one of them being related to work with children or vulnerable adults in either a volunteer or professional setting.
