Job description
Unqualified Learning Support Assistants

Protocol Education are looking for graduates or candidates who have proven experience with Challenging behaviour, disabilities, autism or any other Special Educational Needs who are interested in becoming SEND teaching assistants within Special schools and Pupils Referral units across Bristol.

We will be providing courses to give you the skill sets and knowledge you need to work in the classroom as well as the opportunity to complete some voluntary placements within one of our client Special schools or the SEN department of mainstream secondary schools. Here you will gain experience before being placed in paid positions.

If you have had any experience working with children in any kind of setting it would be advantages for example; sports coaching, creative workshops, respite and residential homes or on a personal level I would be interested in speaking to you.

The Ideal candidate will be:

• Available on a full time basis (Monday – Friday) between 8am – 4.30pm and will work 6 hours on average a day

• Car driver (desirable)

• Proactive and able to use own initiative

• Able to communicate with people on all levels

• Some experience with Special Needs
