Job description
Protocol Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant, with a specific SEN focus, for an opportunity that has arisen in South Durham. You will be working 1:1 with a student with a visual impairment and it would be useful to have experience working with Assistive Technology however this is not essential.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Demonstrate experience of working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
  • Have experience of working with children with speech, language and communication needs
  • Be able to work as part of a committed and hardworking team
  • Have good basic skills in Mathematics and English - GCSE or equivalent
