SEN Support Assistant

Protocol Education is looking for caring and dedicated SEN Support Assistants to work in welcoming mainstream primary schools. These roles offer the opportunity to provide meaningful support to pupils with a range of additional needs while helping them thrive both academically and socially.

Whether you're an experienced SEN Support Assistant or have transferable experience from education, care, youth work or childcare, we'd love to hear from you.

Your role may include:

• Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting small groups to access learning
• Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support
• Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs

You may support pupils with:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Moderate learning difficulties and other additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
