Protocol Education are currently searching for experienced, and/or newly qualified teachers to work with one of our highly trusted clients; a leading special needs school based in the heart of Hillingdon.

The role is for a Easter start; running through to the end of the academic year. It will begin on a temporary basis, with the potential of successful, and highly rated teachers securing a permanent position with the school itself.

Our amazing client is looking for someone who is dedicated, passionate and wanting to make a change in these young people's lives. You will need to share the school's vision of achieving excellence and raising further standards of teaching and learning. You will need to be able to work on a 1:1 or group basis and be always prepared to go the extra mile.

Experience with ASD and SLD is required and some of this role may require elements of personal care. You must be willing to work 5 days and be available between the hours 8.30-16.00pm.

Your day-to-day role will include:
-Teaching and conducting lessons and lesson plans to a small classroom of 5-8 pupils with disabilities, ranging from, autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, and so on.
-Assisting the pupils with any challenges or obstacles that they may be facing and putting a smile on their face every day!
-Working on either a day-to-day or long-term basis, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, during term times.

Ideal candidates will have:
-A QTS qualification, or the overseas equivalent. (NQT's are welcome!)
-Previous experience of working in a school setting, on either a primary or secondary level.
-Experience of working in a SEN environment is preferred, but not essential.
-A passion for working with special needs children and wanting to make a difference.
