PMLD Teacher required for a KS2 class within a small SEN school in the London Borough of Barnet.

The school, easily accessible by London Underground and several bus routes, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher with experience teaching a broad and balanced curriculum to students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

The school is looking to recruit a dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic practitioner, who is willing to learn and want to achieve the very highest standards of teaching and learning. The school want someone who is able to see the possibilities for their exceptional learners and develop provision that enables all to thrive.

You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic and well qualified staff team and will find this post challenging, stimulating and rewarding. In-service training and an induction programme will be provided by the school.

About the School

All age special school for children aged 3-19 with a wide range of special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down's Syndrome and Global Development Delay.

This role is on a one-term basis initially, starting in September 2017, with a view to a permanent placement if successful. The school is looking for an SEN Teacher who has:

* Qualified Teachers Status or equivalent teaching degree
*Recent proven experience teaching SEN/PMLD in a UK-based classroom
*Full eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

All applicants will be subject to Enhanced Disclosure Procedures and UK eligibility checks.
