Are you a qualified Maths Teacher with a passion for supporting students with additional needs? Protocol Education is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Bristol.

This is a full-time opportunity supporting students across KS3 and KS4 within a specialist SEN/SEND setting. The role would suit a confident Maths Teacher who can adapt their teaching to meet a range of learning needs and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

The Role

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Adapt teaching and resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Support students working towards their EHCP targets.
• Monitor progress and provide appropriate assessment and feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour positively and consistently.
• Build strong relationships with students and support their confidence and independence.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff and other professionals.
• Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• UK QTS with a Maths specialism.
• Recent UK secondary teaching experience.
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• SEN/SEND teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Understanding of EHCPs and individual learning needs is advantageous.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, adaptable and committed to supporting every learner.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
