Job description
We are currently working with a Primary school based in Colchester are looking to recruit a specialist LSA to work with students across Key Stages 1 and 2 on a 1-1 basis to start asap.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in ASD support, able to build effective relationships with students and encourage their development through persistence and positive reinforcement. You must be patient and caring, providing a safe and comfortable environment for students to engage in learning. You must effectively implement students education health care plans (EHCP), often working with senior staff, Therapists and parents to ensure support strategies are working.

Experience using PECS or Makaton as tools to support Autistic pupils is highly beneficial.

Above all, the chosen candidate must be proactive and passionate about supporting young people with special needs.
