Job description

• Do you have experience working within a SEN education setting or support/care worker environment?

I am working with a small ASD Secondary School Provision based in Radlett who are looking for quality Learning Support Assistants. The positions available are on a Temp to Perm contract.

Life at this school is very rewarding, always fun and no day is the same. They have a strong sense of community, helping children and young people feel they belong both in the school and in the wider community is highly important to them.
After personally spending some time at the school, I can 100% say that the staff are very welcoming and supportive. I felt a sense of togetherness from the first second.
The school offer ongoing training for staff to ensure continuous development.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Taking instruction from the class teacher
• Working on a 1:1 basis with children who have ASD and other associated needs
• Assisting with learning and social skills
• Personal care experience is ideal but not essential
• Carrying out interactive activities to help build their knowledge
