SEN Learning Support Assistants required in Bristol

Due to high demand Protocol Education need a number of Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistants to work 1 to 1 alongside children with a range of needs in our Primary Schools across Bristol and surrounding area on both a short and long-term basis, alongside day to day supply support workers. We are also looking ahead to the next academic year alongside the rest of the current one.



We currently work with a number of schools in Bristol who need exceptional and experienced SEN LSAs. You'll be required to work within schools where pupils may have behaviour issues, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) amongst others. In particular we are looking for experienced workers in these areas and the following English as an Additional Langguage (EAL), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), MAKATON and manual handling. Any previous experience in working with SEN is preferable.

Requirements

All applicants are required to provide references for the last two years, have proof of address and a current DBS certificate or are happy to have one undertaken. Applicants must have Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent overseas qualification verified by UK Naric.
