Job description
Are you passionate in providing quality care and assistance for pupils with severe SEN?
Have you supported pupils with a wide range of special educational needs?

Protocol Education are currently working with many special schools within the Leeds area who are wanting specialist Learning Support Assistants on termporary/permanent basis that have an in-depth experience of supporting pupils with a wide range of special educational needs.

To be successful for this role, you will have,

•You must have had at least 6 months experience working in a special school or similar setting.
•Have knowledge of the different SEN disabilities such as; ASD nonverbal or verbal, PMLD, MLD, SLD, Downs Syndrome, Visual impairment, Hearing Impairment, Sensory impairments.
•Must have experience of personal care and feeding.
•Team Teach, Makaton, PECS or Manual Handling would be an advantage, but not essential.
•Must be committed in this role as it does require someone that enjoys working within a special school environment.
