Job description
Protocol Education has a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant with experience working in an SEN environment, to work at a Further Education College in North London. The College teaches students aged between 16-25 with a range of special education needs, such as SEMH, PMLD, ASD and Downs Syndrome.

The right candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. You will also need to be resilient as there are some students with particularly challenging behaviour.

The college is a short walk from a London Underground station and an Overground station, with several bus routes passing close by.

The role provides ample opportunity to develop key skills such as managing challenging behaviour, supporting students with communication difficulties and developing resilience.

Working through Protocol, there will be opportunity to attend a range of training courses and CPD, as well as networking opportunities to engage with Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants from a range of backgrounds.
