  • Feels confident supporting pupils with complex additional needs
  • Is calm, patient, and adaptable in challenging situations
  • Can build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff
  • Is reliable, proactive, and ready to start ASAP

Due to the location of the school, driving is preferred. However, the school can also be accessed via train and bus routes.

Essential requirements:

  • Enhanced child-only DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
  • References covering the last 24 months
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Overseas police checks required for any overseas stays longer than 3 months within the past 5 years
  • Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this role

Why work with Protocol Education?

  • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
  • Opportunities to grow your SEND experience
  • Roles where you can genuinely make a lasting impact

This role is perfect for someone who understands that supporting children isn’t only about learning goals, it’s about helping them feel confident, settled, and ready to enjoy school.
