Protocol Education is recruiting dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to join supportive schools across Sunderland this September.

You'll support pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring they feel safe, engaged and confident throughout the school day while helping them reach their full potential.

Role Details

• Full-time
• September start
• Monday-Friday
• 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
• Term-time only
• Long-term opportunity

Responsibilities

• Delivering 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties
• Delivering interventions and structured activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement
• Supporting communication and emotional wellbeing
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff

The ideal candidate

• Has previous experience in education, care or support work
• Is compassionate and patient
• Has excellent communication skills
• Is committed to inclusive education
• Can work effectively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
