Protocol Education is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Intervention Teacher.

We are seeking a SEN teacher with confidence planning and delivering individual learning programmes for children with education, health and care plans.
The teaching position is full-time, class based with up to 8 pupils diagnosed with special needs. The successful teacher will be dedicated to providing effective teaching and planning while managing a small team of up to 3 SEN support assistants.

About the Special School - This Special School is near the City Centre of Nottingham. This school caters for primary and secondary pupils with special educational needs. Pupils have severe and complex learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities.

This special school are seeking a professional who has:
• QTS or a relevant teaching qualification;
• experience planning and teaching pupils with SEN and an education, health and care plan;
• strong classroom presence and is confidently able to manage the behaviour of students who have Autism and Complex Needs;
• full time availability;
• a lifelong learning approach and is a reflective and innovative classroom teacher;
• additional experience with Makaton, visual timetables, SCERTs, Attention Autism, intensive interaction, cued articulation, TACPAC, and TEACCH is highly beneficial;
