Job description
Position: SEN Class Teacher for Key Stage 4 & 5
Location: Chesterfield
Duration: 1 Year form September 2017

I am working with a SEN school which is and Area Special School within the Derbyshire Local Authority. They currently have 130 pupils on role ranging widely in cognitive and physical ability and needs.

The majority of pupils have severe learning difficulties and would have difficulty coping in a mainstream school.

The position is to cover a KS4/5 Class with 11 children in.

For this position we would be looking for:

• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Team Teach experience and in date certificate
• Good behaviour management
• Experience working with SLD/MLD Students

You will also need to be able to supply 2x Educational references over the past 3 years including most recent employer and have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
