Job description
Protocol Education are currently recruiting a teaching assistant for a lively and diverse primary school in Stockton-on-Tees.

Do you have experience working with children with special educational needs? Whether this experience is in the mainstream classroom, special school or another setting, Protocol Education would love to hear from you.

We are currently seeking a SEN/behaviour support assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis. You will have previously supported children with additional needs or challenging behaviour. You should also have experience of working within a primary setting and a teaching assistant qualification. Being Team Teach trained would be a real advantage.

The successful candidate will be positive, resilient and understanding. You will be organised, pro-active and able to use your own initiative. This can be a challenging role at times, but it is also extremely rewarding.

The benefits of working with Protocol Education are:
• Commitment to quality and safeguarding
• Competitive rates of pay
• Daily, short-term and long-term vacancies to suit your needs
• An extensive CPD training programme
• Weekly pay (through PAYE so no hidden umbrella costs)
• Dedicated and education specialist consultants on hand every day
• A bonus scheme for referring friends and colleagues.

For the right candidates, these positions often lead to full time employment.

Please send me your CV if this role is of interest to you.

All candidates will be subject to Protocol Education's child safety standards and background checks.
