Job description
SEN Assistants in Leatherhead

Long term placement starting ASAP until the end of the academic year.

Full time - 5 days per week, normal school hours (8.30 - 3.30)

We are working with a lovely primary school in Leatherhead, supporting them on their search for an ambitious and committed teaching assistant who has experience working with children with special needs.

The school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work alongside children with SEN in KS1/2/3. They are looking for someone with a good level of understanding of Autism, Downs Syndrome, Moderate Learning Difficulties and is passionate about helping young people improve their quality of life.

Experience in a school setting is not necessary, but we're looking for the following:

• Passionate about working in education
• Experienced working with children on the Autistic spectrum and SLD pupils (Severe Learning Difficulties)
• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting
• Interested in working in a different environment
• Committed, resilient and caring
