We are working with a leading, special needs college in the South Croydon area. The school caters for 6-19-year-old children who have social, emotional, attachment difficulties, complex needs and challenging behaviour.
The role is for a learning support assistant, to work 5 days a week, running through to the end of the academic year, on a temp-perm basis.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
-Working from 8am to 4pm, Monday-Friday
-Assisting pupils with special needs, on a small group and 1:1 basis
-Working alongside the class teacher to ensure the wellbeing of the children
The ideal candidate will have:
-Previous experience or passion for working in special needs
-An enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service, or willingness to undertake one through us
-UK-based, child related experience within the last 3 years
