Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in West Denton, Newcastle. The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs who benefit from smaller class sizes, structured routines and a relationship-focused approach to learning.

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping learners regulate emotions and manage challenges
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

• Supporting pupils during lessons and interventions
• Working closely with pastoral and teaching teams
• Acting as a positive role model
• Recognising and celebrating progress
