Protocol Education are recruiting for a full time SEMH teaching assistant to work with a Year 5 girl with challenging behaviour. This successful SEMH teaching assistant will be required to work 1:1 daily from 8.30am - 4pm. This is a permanent contract starting in September 2020, to go through until the end of the academic year. This school is based in Surbiton, within close proximity to the station and bus stops, as well as parking onsite if needed.

The role:

-Full Time
-Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm
-September 2020 start
-Daily rate from £60 - £80, depending on experience.
-Working 1:1 with a year 5 child.

The School:

This school is a provision for pupils who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities. Located in Surbiton, Greater London, they cater for children aged 4 - 19 years. The staff at this school are great communicators, friendly and welcoming to new members of staff. There is a strong working ethic with a positive approach at all times.


To be considered for this position, you will require:

-Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
-Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
-Experience working in a school or with children.
-Eligibility to work in the UK.
-Valid DBS checks.
