Job description
An SEMH Setting in Leicestershire are looking for a 1:1 LSA to support a Year 8 student back into education.

The pupil is a Year 5 pupil who is of very low ability and has been out of school since summer 2016, so we will have to integrate him slowly in to school life here with an initial reduced timetable. He has been diagnosed with ADHD and Global Development Delay, requiring close support both in learning (during structured and unstructured times) and his development of his non-verbal communication / social skills.

The criteria is as follows:

•Team Teach trained is preferable
•Must have a Police certificate of good conduct if they have ever worked abroad
•Must have SEMH experience.

In addition to this, you will:
*Have experience with SEN
*Be adaptable to different needs
*Be able to take direction from the class teacher
*Retain a measured a calm approach when dealing with situations

The role will be long term up starting after Easter until December 2018 at the earliest, previous assignments with this school have extended and will usually be ongoing/ lead to permanent employment.
