Protocol Education are looking to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant to support a lovely child in year 1 with ADHD & ASD in a supportive school based in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire. Experience with supporting children or adults with social emotional and mental heath is desirable but not essential.

The school is looking for someone who is able to commit to the role for the rest of the academic year and ideally to start as soon as possible but they are willing to wait for the right person. Currently the role is to work Thursday and Fridays 8.30-3.30 but they can be flexible if required.

Previous experience within SEMH, Healthcare or related field is ideal however, the school are happy to look at candidates from a range of backgrounds given they have the right transferable skills, attributes and passion.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
