A small inclusive educational provision in the London Borough of Haringey is currently advertising for a teacher in SEN Science. The school caters secondary aged children that have either suffered a traumatic experience or struggling to cope with mainstream education. Each child has been directed to this small school via their local education authority as a matter of urgency so that they may receive a detailed and individualised curriculum.
Teacher specification:
To teach at this school you must have a good understanding of social emotional and mental health difficulties and how to implement education and care to young people with this need. You will need to have a positive approach as well as being patient with good behaviour management. It is desirable to have numeracy and literacy experience however if you have a specialist subject area that you are passionate about then this will also be considered.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools.
