Protocol are currently recruiting for one of our client schools in Leicestershire. The school has a strong support system in place and have an encouraging support system in pace for its pupils which enable them to achieve.

We are currently recruiting for SEMH Teachers to start help covering day to day and short term needs at the school. There is potential over long term positions with the school however this would be dependant on feedback from the school. The position is to work with children who present behavioural difficulties or have a diagnosis of either Autism or Social, Emotional Mental Health concerns. The young people are aged between 10-17 years old and work in small groups that are well supported by teaching assistants.

For the position, you must:

• Have experience working with children who display Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH).
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or be working towards this status.
• Be flexible and adaptable to deal with the various challenges that present in an SEMH setting.
• Team Teach training is desirable.
