✨ What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting KS2 classrooms across South Bristol, Bath & Keynsham
• Providing additional SEMH/SEN support where needed
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged
• Building trust and positive relationships with children aged 7–11
• Managing behaviour calmly, consistently and with empathy
• Creating a safe, focused and purposeful learning environment
• Responding to challenges with a clear head and a safeguarding-first mindset
• Feeding back to teachers and reporting any concerns appropriately

About you:

• You genuinely care about children’s wellbeing as much as their learning
• You’re calm, patient and able to read the room when things feel unsettled
• You’ve got experience supporting children or young people, especially those with SEMH or SEN needs
• You’re confident communicating clearly and building rapport quickly
• You’re passionate about helping children feel understood, not just managed
• You hold a degree (or equivalent experience working with young people)
• You’re keen to go the extra mile and make your presence count

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
