A specialist PRU in Ferryhill is looking for an SEMH Learning Support Assistant to support pupils who need consistency, understanding, and someone in their corner.

Your role
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs
• Assisting with behaviour and de-escalation strategies
• Encouraging engagement with learning
• Providing reassurance and emotional support
• Working collaboratively with staff

We’re looking for someone who is
• Patient, calm, and grounded
• Experienced in SEMH, PRU, or similar settings
• Confident building relationships with pupils
• Flexible and resilient

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
