Job description
Protocol Education are closely working with one of it's partnership schools to provide an English Intervention specialist that is happy to support across an SEMH setting supporting students aged 11 - 16.

The school are looking for someone with a proven knowledge of English that is happy to create lasting relationships with students and work with small groups of students to help them reach achievable targets.

Students that attend the school want to succeed and achieve despite their barriers to learning. Candidates would ideally have experience supporting students with a history of challenging behaviour and candidates must be resilient and be confident in providing both academic and emotional support.

This role is to begin at the start of the new academic year and would lead to staying with the school for the full academic year.

The school are happy to meet with unqualified English teachers, or aspiring English teachers that have experience working young people. Candidates with a background of working with youth offenders, residential children's homes or youth settings are also welcome to apply.
