Job description
Seeking Learning Support Assistant - Year 1 - Hackney

A 2 form entry Primary School in the heart of Hackney are looking for an experienced Learning Support or Teaching Assistant to support a child in their Year 1 class on a 1:1 basis. They are looking for someone who preferably has experience of supporting children with Autism. The child you would be working with has speech, language and communication needs to start in January

Position: Learning Support Assistant

School: Good graded Mainstream Primary School - 3 -11yrs

Location: Inner London Borough of Hackney

Transport: Excellent transport links via public transport

Start date: January 2017 start – Full Time

Salary £60 to £75.00 day

The successful candidate must:

-Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis

-Knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

-To have worked one to one and lead groups with children with special needs such as Autism, PMLD, ASD and speech and language difficulties.
