Job description
Are you a recent Graduate seeking a career in education? Or potentially somebody looking for a career change and want some hands-on experience in a teaching style role? Protocol Education are seeking to recruit Secondary Cover Supervisors in Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. This is a role ideal for candidates wishing to gain extra experience in a classroom in preparation of a career in education or for support staff who wish to develop their classroom skills. The role does not require QTS.

Cover Supervisors have a classroom-based role. The role consists of independently covering and managing the classroom. It will involve covering for teachers across a range of subjects and following the given lesson plan to ensure all pupils are on task and complete work. No planning or marking would be required. The right candidate will be able to follow given instructions left by the existing teacher and will have strong behaviour management.

Protocol Education are offering Cover Supervisor training on the evening of Thursday 1st March 2018 in Bristol. The training will cover expectations of a Cover Supervisor and will share useful tips for behaviour management. The training will be hosted by Rachel, a secondary Consultant with three years of teaching experience.
