Job description
We are currently looking for a teacher of English for a school in Chesham.

You must be able to deliver to GCSE and be able to teach to A Level. The school we are representing offer a lot of support for NQTs and experienced staffing where needed.

This role is to cover maternity leave, starting from after the Easter holidays until the summer holidays in the first instance - there is a possibility it will continue after the summer.

We are looking for a teacher to maintain a high standard of teaching levels in order to meet the targets required.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.

•Extensive subject knowledge.

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•Sound behaviour management.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
