Job description
Secondary Teaching Assistant East London

Protocol Education are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to provide extra curriculum support within English, Maths, Humanities, EAL and Science to raise standards within Secondary schools and support students.

We are committed to supporting schools in their challenge to improve with Subject Specialist TA's. We are aware that a number of schools require extra support in order to raise attainment levels and standards within the curriculum subjects.

Role Responsibilities:

Working on a temporary or a permanent basis, you will need to combine your professional experience and skills to support a varied and stimulating curriculum within a secondary school.

Responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils, you will need to be confident in your ability to support students and staff and use your initiative as well as able being to work as part of the teaching and support team.

The Ideal Candidate:

-A confident self-starter who is committed and driven

- Have recent experience of working within an educational setting

- Have a Maths, English, History, Geography or Science degree or have equivalent knowledge and understanding

- Have some relevant experience supporting secondary pupils
