Secondary Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Bristol BS7

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bristol, BS7. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive difference in their academic, social, and personal development.

The role is available on a full-time basis, with opportunities for candidates who are available to start immediately or from September.

What You'll Do:

✨ Support students in the classroom through one-to-one and small group support
✨ Assist teachers with delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
✨ Help students overcome barriers to learning and build confidence
✨ Support positive behaviour and encourage student engagement
✨ Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to support student progress
✨ Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience working with young people within a school, youth, childcare, or support setting
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ A patient, positive, and adaptable approach
✔ Confidence supporting students with different learning needs and abilities
✔ A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
✔ Relevant education or support qualifications are desirable but not essential
