Location: Leeds
Salary: £140–£220 per day (PAYE, no umbrella faff)
Contract: Flexible supply (day-to-day, short-term, long-term)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Fancy teaching without the Sunday night planning panic?

If you love being in the classroom but want a bit more control over your week, supply teaching could be your perfect fit. We’re working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Leeds who need brilliant teachers ready to step in, keep learning on track, and bring a bit of calm to the day.

Whether you’re after one day a week or a full timetable, we’ll match you with schools that suit your style. No guesswork, no last-minute chaos, just roles that work around you.

‍ What your day might look like:

  • Delivering pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if that’s your thing)
  • Keeping behaviour on track with confidence and consistency
  • Building quick, positive rapport with students and staff
  • Leaving clear handover notes so the next day runs smoothly

✨ What you’ll get:

  • Choose when and where you work, total flexibility
  • A mix of schools, from supportive academies to community settings
  • Bookings you can rely on, with clear info upfront ✅
  • Weekly pay through PAYE, no hidden deductions
  • A consultant who actually listens (rare, we know)

What we’re looking for:

  • UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management
  • Ability to hit the ground running and adapt quickly
  • A positive, can-do attitude students respond to

The important bits (DfE & safeguarding):

We take safeguarding seriously, because schools do too.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or happy to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
  • Two professional references covering the last two years
  • Full employment history with any gaps explained
  • Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All applicants will be subject to safeguarding checks in line with Department for Education requirements.
